Calendar of events All church related activities have been cancelled, including Church Sunday Services at both the United Reformed Church and the Methodist Church in accordance with the Government guidelines to discourage the spread of the Coronavirus. However, we do hope to have the Church open for individual prayer and peacefulness every Friday morning between 10am-12pm. Below are the readings from the Lectionary for each Sunday which can serve as a point of reflection and thought as we approach Passion Week and the Festival of Easter. We will try to keep this page up to date with any changes that might occur. As a Church in the community we hold everyone in our prayers as we go through this time of concern and uncertainty and ask if you will join with us in the following prayer: Living God, whose love lasts for ever and whose purpose cannot be defeated; restore our confidence in you and drive out all our fear; though we walk in darkness, troubled by the disease spreading over the world, help us to trust you, so that, as we are filled with new strength and hope ourselves, we may give strength and hope to others; in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
